The Wave Of Formation

Beyonce super bowl performance started a wave of issues upon law enforcement and others in the media. Oh! My formation what a wave you brought forth. Her performance was definitely a Queen B performance, full of energy, she graced us with her black body suit and her gold straps against her chest. Queen B slays her look, her dancers hit the field as strong women rocking their Black Panthers outfit and standing a strong formation line. Blonde wavy hair YES! I did say blonde which, looks awesome on her as she stood as the Queen that she know she is.

When did we lose our freedom of speech, can we no longer say what we have in our purse (hot sauce), can we no longer say where we want to eat “Red Lobster”. Can we no longer embrace self-love, or do we only have freedom of speech when they need us to have it. When Beyonce sang, “Single Ladies” she had freedom of speech and everyone remade the, “Single Ladies” video from Justin Timberland and everyone under the sun.

Law enforcement why would you want to bring a negative wave upon a positive message is she wrong to ask or say stop the police brutality? Let me ask you a question do you not want to stop the brutality and make the community feel safe and embrace you as officers? You guys are here to serve and protect, and not beat and kill us. Law enforcement in Miami, Fl are planning a boycott on her concert. Is it that serious, because she said, “stop beating us”. Why are you guys not coming together and boycott the police officers that are using brutality against people in the community? When the uniform is off, you all are still human beings, you have pains, cry and feel weakness. Would you feel the same if it happen to one of your family members? Would you still be in the line with your sign?

The president of the Miami Fraternal stated that “Beyonce used the Super Bowl to divide America by promoting Black Panthers and her anti-police message.” This issue led the higher personnel to vote to boycott the Formation world tour that is taking place on April 26,2016. Sorry, but America was already divided. Mr.Ortiz stated “ he was flipping the television channel and he mistakenly watched her “Formation” video that shows young black men dancing in front of police officers in riot gang.” Really, Mr.Ortiz in the whole video that is the only thing that you see in this video, you did not see the black cultural , the encouraging self-love, the history in New Orleans. The same concert that the Miami Law Enforcement is going to boycott, is the same concert that is bringing revenue in the city that you work for. She slayed that!

We had Mrs. Tomi Lahren, stated that the black panther was a group of terrorist, as a reporter are you not suppose to do research before you report, but I guess she missed school that day when that was taught. A word terrorist is a person who uses terrorism in the purse a political aim, and that is far from what the black panther is. The core practice is to protect the citizens and monitor the behavior of police officers and challenge the police brutality. That is not terrorism behavior to me Mrs. Lahren, they are doing the same thing that the law enforcement suppose to be doing protecting the citizens. So are you also calling the law enforcement terrorist as well? It’s okay for Mrs.Lahren to have freedom of speech, but not Beyonce, guess what one part of her song encouraged following your dreams and work hard to get what you want. You are living your dream because you worked hard to be a success in your career. Formation just took your career on a higher wave, now the world know who you are Mrs. Tomi Lahren, you just got slayed.

Formation continue to ride the wave of success that you are getting, and push for greatness.Some in this society took away with them American separation, anti-police message. I took away, self-love, women empowerment, and embracing your culture. When we stand in a formation we need to come together and focus on what is important to us, get to know your roots , and history behind who you are and be proud of where you came from speak loud and stand up for it. Music is a craft and it's a freedom of speech everyone is entitled to their opinions no one should be judged and torn down for what they believe in.

Keep slaying Beyonce in your career, motherhood, as a daughter and a sister but most of all as a wife. Continue to call these women of this world into “ Formation” and let’s stand up for the future of our kids. As,Queen B said it best in the Formation video.

“ You know you that bitch when you cause all this conservation”

The Wave of Formation we just slay it.
