“Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you doing” – Maya Angelou

Let me first start by saying when a person is destined for greatness there is no stopping them. Ms. Mimi has demonstrated that she is destined for greatness. Mimi Boutiq fashion set the standard for every other local shows that comes after this. The show featured 16 designers, which all graced the runway to display their beautiful work of art. I would say there were a couple looks I would wear to any event. Mimi Boutiq is ran by a young lady that showed if you stepped out on faith and with the love of God in her heart anything is possible. The show was held at the Newport Beach in Miami, FL the venue was beautiful every area that you turn you had the view of the beautiful ocean view.

The environment walking into the room was full of excitement buzzing from the vicinity of the room; the music set the tone for the show. The VIP areas were lined up in front of the stage with gift bags displaying on each white chairs. Mimi Boutiq staff were professional helping all the guest that enter the venue and seating each guest with a smile on their face. The fashion show had media coverage from every end from Traveling Red Suitcase to WPLG channel 10.

The guests were dressed to impress, from brown and blue suits for the men, and African print and cape jacket for the women. The guest filled the room by the time the show started. The excitement in the room was astounding, for the most talked about show Mimi Boutiq 5 years strong. Light Camera Action the host of the show hit the run way the beautiful model Tico Armand wear a gold and black dress with the back open and was designed by DJenane, the excitement was taken to next level. Ms.Tico beauty was so radiant on that stage as she in her own words said, “she shines like a diamond” and that is what she did, she shared the stage with Reggie Muzzik . The show was opened up with a swimwear collection from beware swim for the kids. The kids hit the run way with passion and drive.

The beautiful Seattle Renay took the runway by storm, with an all in one black swimwear. This beautiful soul has a foundation called the SeattleRenayFoundation that host a Suds and Rinse Day that provide financial relief to families who wash their clothing and linens at public laundry houses. The next younger lady that took the stage with her beautiful smile is the daughter of the owner of Chosen One Dance Studio BraNia Johnson rocked out in a black and white two piece this young pageant princess also runs a foundation called,” Bra ‘Nia Bring’s Books” and the last princess that hit the run is Miss Asja Saintil Miss Runway Mini2013 and Miss Tiny2015 she came out in her neon yellow swim wear and gave the room more energy than you can imagine. The women models of the show were so gorgeous; the make up was clean and soft. The outfits from the swimwear to the designer outfits were breathtaking. The men models, which the audience went crazzzzzzzzzzyy over where very, sharp, elegant, and smooth.

The vendors were great when it came to introducing their products and their services from a local t-shirt designer Mozaio, and the company Haitian Rocks from New York. Each vendor was professional and gave amazing details of their product. I left there with great vendors, products and more knowledge about the Haitian community and the pride that they display within their companies and products. I salute you Ms.Mimi the show was amazing, and I give you 10 stars sister, you nailed this 5 years STRONG!!! Traveling Red Suitcase can’t wait to continue to travel with you on your Mimi Boutiq journey!
